'We wanted an AI to write this text because nobody actually reads them anyway. However, having worked with teenagers this year, we have learnt to recognise authenticity in everything. Even though we’re introducing more and more new technologies into our work every year, we remain true to the principle of authenticity. To us, every project, every participant, every colleague and every partner is about more than just cold figures or results; it's about the opportunity to create alongside like-minded people, to make dreams come true and to facilitate personal growth. This report provides us with the opportunity to reflect on what our 2024–2025 years were like."

A quick summary of the main points
What have we been doing over the past year? With whom, and how did we do it?
#StudBiz. A 4-year project to develop social entrepreneurship in educational institutions
In autumn 2024, we continued to implement the four-year initiative 'Social Student Companies to Assist Youth in Post-War Ukraine' (#StudBiz), which we developed in collaboration with ChildFund Deutschland e.V. and with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Through this initiative, we scaled up the development of social entrepreneurship in educational institutions across Ukraine. Over the course of the year, we established a network of 10 educational hubs, selected 15 schools to launch their own social enterprises and developed a comprehensive training programme and online course for young people. Additionally, we trained coaches and mentors to support new student-run enterprises and foster the development of the StudBiz ecosystem.
REDpreneur.UA
As part of the REDpreneur.UA project, two cohorts of the Red Cross’s global innovation and acceleration initiative were successfully implemented. In the first cohort, representatives of vulnerable population groups received support “from scratch,” while the second cohort consisted of small businesses seeking to recover and scale up. The program provided participants with 360° support: from business skills training to mentorship, and finalists had the opportunity to secure grant funding of up to €15,000 to implement their socially impactful ideas.
StudBizEU
We have completed the large-scale international project ‘Fostering Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Practical Career Management Skills in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia through the Innovative Social Student Companies (SSC) Approach’ (#StudBizEU), which was implemented with the support of the European Union in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland e.V. and organisations from Moldova, Georgia and Armenia. This initiative aimed to develop youth social entrepreneurship and practical career management skills through the implementation of an innovative approach to setting up social school companies. As part of the project, we succeeded in building an SSC ecosystem by creating specialised hubs, training trainers and establishing new student companies, as well as sharing Ukraine’s successful experience with international partners to strengthen the youth sector across the region.
Social Impact Award Ukraine 2025
The fifth edition of the international Social Impact Award (SIA) 2025 initiative was held in Ukraine. Following the successful completion of the 2024 project, we launched a new phase of the SIA in March 2025. In November 2025, the winning teams took part in the global SIA Summit in Slovenia, where they presented Ukrainian innovations to the international community. The project continues to fulfil its mission of identifying and accelerating innovative start-ups focused on sustainable development and social transformation in Ukraine.
від молодіжного центру до соціального бізнесу
In January 2025, the project ‘Towards Sustainability of Civil Society Organisations through Social Entrepreneurship’ was successfully completed. It was carried out as part of the large-scale programme ‘Youth Capacity Building in the Western Regions of Ukraine’, implemented by ISAR Ednannia with financial support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF Ukraine), the Government of Japan and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Thanks to the project, 12 youth centres in the western regions of Ukraine received comprehensive support to strengthen their financial and organisational sustainability. Project participants had the opportunity to undergo intensive training in the fundamentals of social enterprise, receive professional mentoring from industry experts, and embark on their own social entrepreneurship journey, creating new opportunities for young people in their communities. In total, 17 public events were held as part of the initiative, including pitch sessions and workshops, which reached 225 unique participants.

Partners and Donors
This large-scale, four-year initiative was launched in the fall of 2024 with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland. The project aims to develop social entrepreneurship in educational institutions in Ukraine and to help young people develop entrepreneurial, managerial, and social skills by establishing social student-run enterprises in schools.
We affectionately and briefly refer to social entrepreneurship in educational institutions (schools, boarding schools, colleges, etc.) as “studbiz.” We introduce social entrepreneurship, if not at the DNA level, then at a very early age.
