ABOUTTHEPROJECT
WHAT:
Behind the complex name of Social Student Companies to Activate The Youth is hidden a project to develop and promote social school entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
WHY:
Our goal is for every teacher, from the West to the East, to know that social school entrepreneurship is a new step in the development of schooling in practice and the development of leadership and entrepreneurial qualities in their students.
WHO:
The project is implemented by the School of ME in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland e.V. with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
FOR WHOM:
Students, teachers, parents, civic organizations, media, and all people who believe in a modern, interesting education.
PROJECTSTAGES
September - December 2020
Creation of a web portal for social school entrepreneurship in Ukraine
Everything young entrepreneurs may need on one portal.
Five Roundtables
Five public discussions in five regions of Ukraine with representatives of educational departments, teachers, and NGOs about the importance of social school entrepreneurship.
Training of five NGOs
10 daredevils (2 people from one organization) from different regions of Ukraine go to Kyiv to learn about social school entrepreneurship and develop it in their communities.
January - March 2021
20 One-day crash workshops
400 children and 60 adults from 20 Ukrainian schools are learning social school entrepreneurship.
April - July 2021
Selection of schools for funding and support
The 10 schools that demonstrated the most enthusiasm in the workshops receive funding to implement their ideas, as well as mentor support.
Intensification for coaches
Representatives of the selected schools, together with coaches, undergo intensive training in social school entrepreneurship to launch firms in their schools.
September - December 2021
Training of finalist schools
200 students, supervised by their teachers, are learning even more.
January - April 2022
Visit to Germany
Sixteen representatives of schools and partner NGOs travel to Germany for four days to meet local school entrepreneurs.
